Annika Gho is a junior at Saratoga High School. She has been playing the piano since the age of five and is currently studying under Ms. Anjela Asryan. She has received top prizes in competitions such as the Charleston International Music Competition, US Open Music Competition, CAPMT, and the Ghiglieri Competition and was invited twice to the Junior Bach Festivals in 2022 and 2024. Annika also completed a high school diploma from the National Guild of Piano Under American College of Musicians along with ABRSM Grade 8 Performance Exam with Distinction Honors.
In addition, she shares her passion for music through biweekly performances with the Polar Bears Music Group and her school’s Tri-M Music Honor Society. She has also helped plan benefits concerts and her school’s annual Chamber Music Festival.
Besides the piano, Annika plays violin with Saratoga High School’s elite ensemble, Saratoga Strings, that was invited to perform at the 2023 Midwest Clinic and the 2025 National Orchestra Festival. She also enjoys video editing, running, and writing stories for her school’s newspaper.
