Shua Cheon, born in 2011, plays the piano and has been admiring other pianists around her since she was very young. Wondering how to make the beautiful sound, she has studied with several teachers during the span of seven years, with her current teacher being Chia-Lin Yang. In her short piano career, Shua placed 3rd in the ENKOR competition in 2024, and having recently passed the audition, she will be joining the Cal Prep chamber program in the coming year to experience playing with other musicians. Besides the piano, Shua has been playing the violin for around five and a half years. She will be taking part in AO in the California Youth Symphony (CYS) next year as well. Shua loves to express a variety of emotions through the piano and will continue to enjoy music throughout her life.
