Siyuan Hua | 1st prize | Violin | 12th Edition | ENKOR Int'l Music Competition


Born in 2003 in China, Siyuan Hua began violin studies at the age of 4. She is currently a Shanghai Conservatory of Music student under the tutelage of Mengla Huang. She has also studied with Qinglin Zhu, Shuting Wu, Zaiyuan Ding and Youjin Li.

With her impressive musical expressiveness and technical perfection, she has established herself as one of the sought-after artists of her generation. She has been the Principal first violin of he Music School Affiliated to Shanghai Conservatory of Music Youth Symphony Orchestra and the First Violin of Brio Quartet. 

She has been awarded a number of first prizes in international competitions, including First Prize in 2024 Salzburg International Music Competition; First Prize in XIII AMIGDALA International Music Competition; First Prize in Opus International Music Competition; First Prize in 2023 International Music Competition ""Brussels"" Grand Prize Virtuoso, First Prize & Expressive Performance Special Award in UK International Music Competition, First Prize in VI Paris International Music Competition, Laureate of the 1st Prize in Moscow International Grand Music Competition, First Prize in the Danubia Talents International Music Competition, First Prize in the 71th Trophee Mondial and International Open Trophee, Second Prize in VIII North International Music Competition, Second Prize in the International Moscow Music Online-Competition and Outstanding Performance Prize in the Singapore International Violin Competition. 

Siyuan is also passionately cooperate with composers. In May 2021, she successfully premiered the work ""Century-Fashion"" (work for accordion and string quartet) commissioned by the famous composer Professor Hao Liu at the Shangyin Opera House, and successfully performed this work at the National Center for the Performing Arts of China in the same month. She was selected to the Shanghai Radio Festival-Classic 947 ""Planetary Project"", Shanghai People's Broadcasting Station in 2020. She participated in the demonstration recording project of ""Selected Chinese Violin Works"" by Professor Zhinuo Ding and Mr. Baozhi Yang (published by Shanghai Conservatory of Music Press) in 2021. 

Siyuan has performed in major venues in China such as Shanghai He Luting Concert Hall, Shanghai Symphony Orchestra Concert Hall, Shanghai Grand Theater, Shanghai Oriental Art Center, Shanghai Shangyin Opera House, Shanghai Poly Grand Theater, National Centre for the Performing Arts, Dalian City Music Hall, Wenzhou Grand Theater, etc. She has participated in charity performances of Zhuhai TV, CCTV, and Shanghai TV.
