Erin Suh, a 9th grader at Beckman High School in Irvine, California, has studied cello with her instructor, Jenny Oh, since the age of eight. She has earned multiple first prizes in competitions including the Southwestern Youth Music Festival, the Satori Music Competition, the Charleston International Competition, and the American Protégé International Competition. Erin has performed with several distinguished ensembles, including the CASMEC California All-State String Orchestra since 2024 and Junior Chamber Music since 2022. She is also a current member of the Pacific Symphony Youth Orchestra. Beyond her orchestral experiences, Erin is a dedicated volunteer who regularly performs at senior centers and hospitals, sharing her love of music with the community through benefit concerts. In addition to her musical pursuits, she enjoys robotics and reading.
