Ally Chew is a sophomore at Wilcox High School in Santa Clara, California. She has been a flautist in the Golden State Youth Orchestra for four years and currently plays as assistant principal in their Symphony Orchestra. Additionally, Ally was selected as a state finalist for the MTAC VOCE Competition. She has also performed with the California All-State Band and was a part of the Santa Clara County Honor Band for two years. She has studied flute with Ms. Cecily Lan since the age of 11, who continues to push her to be a better musician and person.
