Andrew Jun is a high school clarinetist from Cupertino, California, attending Valley Christian High School. He began his musical journey on the clarinet at age 13 under the tutelage of Hye Min Yun. Andrew has participated in All-State in 2025 and 2026 and All-County in 2025. He has received recognition in multiple competitions, including the ENKOR Int’l Competition, the American Youth Talent International Music Competition, the US Open, American Protégé, and the KAMSA Competition. In 2025, Andrew won the California Philharmonic Youth Orchestra Concerto Competition and performed as a soloist; he currently serves as the principal clarinetist of the California Philharmonic Youth Orchestra. Additionally, he was selected to play for the Honor Band of America in 2026.
