Eileen Lee | Second Prize | Winds & Percussion | 12th Edition | ENKOR Int'l Music Competition

Eileen Lee is a 16-year-old sophomore at Palo Alto High School who has been studying the flute for seven years. She currently studies with renowned teachers Yubeen Kim and Isabelle Chapuis. At school, she plays both flute and piccolo in the band and was selected to participate in the 2024–2025 California All-State Band. Eileen is also a member of the California Philharmonic Youth Orchestra, where she recently performed as a soloist.

She has won first place in numerous competitions, including the Bellagrande International, KAMSA, the Grand Prize Virtuoso Berlin, the American Fine Arts Festival International Concerto Competition, the Silicon Valley Music Competition, among others. In addition, she has earned second place in the International Grand Music Competition and the US International Music Competition.

Eileen has performed at Carnegie Hall’s Weill Recital Hall, the Junior Bach Festival, and NCFC Professor John Thorn’s masterclass. Most recently, she was named an Alternate Finalist in the U.S. Navy Band Soloist Competition.

In the summer of 2026, she will attend the Young Artists Wind Ensemble Program at the Boston University Tanglewood Institute.

Beyond music, she enjoys creating visual art and received a Gold Medal in the 2025 Scholastic Art & Writing Awards.
