Ella Liu is a principal flutist of the National Youth Orchestra of the United States of America (NYO-USA) for 2026 and a principal flutist of National Youth Orchestra 2 (NYO2) for 2025. She has earned awards in numerous international, national, and state flute competitions. Her recent accolades include being named a 2025 YoungArts Award Winner in Classical Music, a national finalist in the Music Teachers National Association (MTNA) Junior Woodwind Competition, and a multiple-time first-place winner in the Tennessee Music Teachers Association (TMTA) Competition. Ella has studied with Mrs. Myung Kim for over seven years.
