Ella Liu is a junior at Collierville High School in Tennessee. She served as Principal Flutist of the National Youth Orchestra 2 (NYO2) in 2025 and has been selected for the National Youth Orchestra of the United States of America (NYO-USA) for the summer of 2026. Ella has earned numerous awards in international, national, and state flute competitions. Her accolades include being named a 2025 YoungArts Award Winner in Classical Music, a national finalist in the Music Teachers National Association (MTNA) Junior Woodwind Competition, and a multiple-time first-place winner in the Tennessee Music Teachers Association (TMTA) Woodwind Competition. She has performed as a concerto soloist with the Germantown Symphony Orchestra and the Germantown Youth Symphony Orchestra. Ella has studied with Mrs. Myung Kim for over seven years.
