Joshua is an 11th-grade student at Valley Christian High School as an Honor Artist student at the Conservatory.
He enjoys playing music with the Cupertino Symphonic Band and the Golden State Youth Orchestra, and is now a percussionist at the California Youth Orchestra and UchannelTV Chamber Music. His awards include the VCS Concerto Competition, Bay Area Young Artist Award, Remo PASIC Scholarship, IYMC Artist of the Year, NLPA Grand Prize, President Award, GCMA 1st Prize, and he was invited to perform at Carnegie Hall.
Joshua is currently studying under Eriko Daimo, Jacob Nissley, and Tammy Chen, and has attended masterclasses with world-renowned artists Gordon Stout, Anthony Cirone, She-e Wu, Theodore Milkov, Weichen Lin, and Twincussion.
Joshua joined community services through fundraising concerts, international forums, Italy mission events, and local public events. He enjoys spending time at the senior center and cooking dinner for family and friends.
He loves fishing, ice skating, water polo, and video editing.
