Olivia Park is a senior at Archbishop Mitty High School in San Jose, California, and a 2025 National YoungArts Winner with Distinction in Classical Music. She serves as co-principal flute of the California Youth Symphony Senior Orchestra and was named principal flute of the California All-State Symphony Orchestra in 2024 and 2025.
She studies with Yubeen Kim of the San Francisco Symphony and Jooyoun Shin of the Korean Symphony Orchestra, and has furthered her studies at the Boston University Tanglewood Institute. She is also named a 2025–26 From The Top Fellow in NPR’s Learning and Media Lab and was featured on the Daily Joy podcast.
As a soloist, Olivia has performed as a competition winner with the California Youth Symphony and KAMSA Orchestra, and appeared in a duet with soprano Sumi Jo. Her honors include top prizes in the ENKOR International Music Competition, the US Open Music Competition, and the Peninsula Symphony Young Musicians Competition, among others.
Outside of music, she is a third-degree black belt at her Taekwondo studio and frequently works there as a junior instructor.
