Veronica Pan is a Year 10 music scholar at MLC School. She has studied clarinet with Dr Deborah de Graaff since 2021, following early study with Carson Du from the age of eight. An accomplished clarinettist, Veronica has received numerous awards at eisteddfods and competitions throughout Australia. Internationally, she was awarded the Virtuoso Prize, First Place in the Woodwind & Brass section, and the Purcell School Prize at the 2025 New Talent Festival, leading to an invitation to perform at the Royal Academy of Music in 2026. She also received First Prize in the ENKOR International Music Competition in 2025. In previous years, she has received 1st place in the Kings’ Peak International Music Competition and in the Golden Classical Music Competition, for which she was invited to perform at Carnegie Hall. Outside of music, she enjoys basketball, debating, and running. Veronica continues her musical journey with discipline and passion, reflecting her talent and love for music.
