Alice Zhang is a young artist from Dallas that studies piano with Mr. Yifan Liu. She is currently a junior at Greenhill School, where she balances her academic and extracurricular life. Alice has received accolades in many competitions, such as the TMTA Piano Competition, MTNA Piano Competition, Austin Piano Festival, and Dallas Symphonic Festival. Her most recent achievements include 1st place at the Baylor-Waco Piano Competition, 2nd at the Collin County Young Artist Competition, and 3rd at the Dallas Symphonic Piano Competition. She made her debut performance at Carnegie Hall in 2016. Alice frequently attends festivals, such as the Texas Music Festival and the Odyssiad Keyboard Festival, and will play at the Basically Beethoven Festival in July. She also has received notable scholarships to attend the Baylor University Piano Camp and the Interlochen Center of the Arts Piano Camp.
Her other hobbies include golfing and writing for her school newspaper.
