Chase Wang, from Cupertino, California, began studying piano at the age of five. He won First Place in the 2021 U.S. Open Music Competition (Piano Romantic, Elementary category) and earned Third Place in the 2022 U.S. Open Music Competition (Piano Junior category). Currently a student in the San Francisco Conservatory of Music’s Young People's Program, Chase performed at the 2024 San Francisco Flower Piano event and was awarded Second Place in the 2025 American Protégé International Piano & Strings Competition (Young Musicians, Age 5–10 Category).
Chase has a deep love for music across many genres. He finds playing the piano both calming and fulfilling, and he takes great joy in sharing music with others. In addition to music, Chase is an accomplished chess player who enjoys pursuits that engage both creativity and intellect.
